Migration of Forms from MCA V2 to V3 Portal

Migration of Forms from MCA V2 to V3 Portal

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) in its constant efforts to facilitate ease of doing business, has completed the migration of last set of e-forms to MCA V3 portal from V2 portal. The Ministry has already migrated majority of important forms like DPT-3 (return of deposits), PAS-3 (return of allotment), charge forms etc. to V3 portal. Now after their successful migration, MCA has launched the annual filing forms viz. AOC-4, MGT-7, MGT 7A etc along with other e-forms to V3 portal, fully effective from 14 July 2025.

  • Business User Registration:

If you are an existing user in V2, then you need not register once again. In fact the system will identify the mail id that you give as a duplicate id and not permit a registration once again But if you attempt to register with a new mail id which was not in V2, you will be created as a new user. Such registrations in V3 when already an existing user in V2 should be avoided.

You also need to associate your Class 3 DSC freshly with the new portal.

  • When a business user logs into the MCA system, a one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your mobile number and email address to ensure the authenticity of the user.

  • In V2, forms were required to be filled and uploaded as pdf in the portal while in V3 the forms are to be filled online. This enables user convenience including the ability to save a half- filled form and file it later.

  • An additional facility/option is now available for annual filings to submit the forms through Offline Utility. In this option user will provide basic details in web form basis which they can download a prefilled excel and will provide rest of the data in excel itself. After filling in the excel, user will have to upload the excel in the web form.

MCA has also released FAQs on the Lot 3 Forms.
